Founded over 50 years ago by Joseph Schembri, Barbros Group has since established itself as a major player in the Maltese construction industry by having a key role in such projects as Valletta’s Merchants Street, the Cottonera Waterfront, the original Farsons Brewery, as well as a number of factories and arterial roads.
Since the late 1980s the company has also been manufacturing bricks and other materials with which to supply the booming construction industry and, thanks to its own quarry and concrete batching plant, Barbros group are fully self-sufficient while also being able to cater to the needs of the local industry.
The latest addition to the Barbros Group portfolio is our foray into the property market through our property subsidiary.
